Log’ is a collection of observations on architecture and the contemporary city.  After two successive thematic issues, Log 38 (Fall 2016) returns to its classic open form, bringing together myriad perspectives from architecture's cente.

Part of the current edition deals with various reflections on Brexit, such as “London after Brexit” by Patrik Schumacher, Mario Carpo’s “Brexit Thoughts, From Abroad”, and Jack Self’s take, entitled “It All Starts at Home”. Also in this edition, diverse contributions range from Manfredo di Robilant’s writing on the stubbornness of Yona Friedman, Sam Jacob Studio in retrospect, and a critique of domestic space by Pier Vittorio Aureli and Maria Shéhérazade Giudici, to an interview with Harry Cobb by editor Cynthia Davidson, and Eve Blau’s essay on pedagogy and politics at Yale in the late 1960s.
