Her work reimagines the Maasvlakte through organic settlements built from fungal structures.

Visser had her education at Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. Her work is part of major collections such as Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, the Caldic Collections, ABN AMRO Art Collection, Museum Voorlinden. She was awarded the Hendrik Chabot Prize Rotterdam in 2022.
