Established in 1990, the studio led by Adam Caruso and Peter St John has a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, and cultural buildings, and much experience working in historic locations. Here the studio is profiled through proposals from eight recent competitions, each marked by the architects’ devotion to exploring materials and approaches. Among these are the conversion of a military barracks in Zurich, a corporate campus in Prague, Swiss residential blocks, and a research complex in Dresden.

In addition, the magazine publishes five recent competition projects awarded to Spanish architects and several new cabin hotels ensconced in natural surroundings.
