With the exhibition Re-Set Inside Outside responds to the vacant architecture in the Netherlands, showing how the experience of space itself can be changed by relatively simple interventions. One single mobile object occupies the space of the Dutch Pavilion (a building by Gerrit Rietveld, 1954) for three months and emphasises the building’s unique qualities. The installation, two curtains of 16 meter each, move through space, taking different positions and constantly changing the architecture. In addition the semi-transparent windows of the pavilion are replaced with clear Perspex glass making it possible for natural daylight to enter the space. Every five minutes the experience of space in the pavilion will be completely different. The book and DVD will be presented during the opening of the Biennale on August 28
