Architecture Without Content is the first publication of five studio reports from workshops taught by Kersten Geers at Columbia University, Mendrisio Academy of Architecture, Graz University of Technology and EPFL Lausanne. Beginning as a study of ‘The Big Box’, a big industrial building that could contain many things, the Architecture Without Content studio develops the idea of a possible architecture of the perimeter, a pragmatic kind of architecture that remains radical and precise.
