Inspired by the architecture and interior of the modernistic ‘Sonneveld House’ dating from 1933, designer Richard Hutten has designed two tea towels. The Sonneveld House is one of the best-preserved houses of the Nieuwe Bouwen style. The tea towels, available in blue and black, are produced by TextielLab in Tilburg, a workshop for fabric development.

As guest curator, Richard Hutten (1967) was asked by Het Nieuwe Instituut to add a number of contemporary designs to the house furnishings. ‘Richard Hutten in Huis Sonneveld’ is open up to and including 11 May 2014.
