Sou Fujimoto elucidates his idea of architecture with the help of more than 120 models of realized structures, conceptional tests or designs currently in progress. He has furnished each of the models, photographed himself, with a "statement" which poetically and succinctly substantiate his musings on the future of architecture. Fujimoto sees "architecture as a forest" as the architecture of the future. The models range from very small buildings to huge constructions several hundred metres high or even whole city blocks.

In the email correspondence in the appendix, conducted with the architect, the residents of his detached houses House Na and House N discuss how they feel living in his buildings and the functionality of the architecture. The book, designed by Thomas Mayfried, is not an exhibition catalogue, but rather an extremely interesting manifesto of a young architect, whose visions have already received much international attention.
