This book is the first publication on the work of the Amsterdam architect Philip Warners, who played a pioneering role between 1915 and 1930 with the introduction of the luxury apartment in Amsterdam.

The interiors of some of these buildings – Westhove, Loma, De Steenbok, and Oldenhoeck – have been recently photographed by Arjan Bronkhorst. This material, along with original drawings and plans of interior details, provides a new perspective on the renowned Amsterdam School period.
