The book contains a chronological description and imagination of the twelve-year oeuvre of the two leading designers Kiki van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk. It examines their different design methodologies and artistic principles that have clearly developed over the years, unconsciously influenced by one another.

The personal approach offers the reader a glimpse inside the design world of Kiki and Joost. A world with love for concept development, research, crafts and developing innovative technologies.

The path to international fame is described in personal texts by design journalist Jeroen Junte and art historian Rebecca Nelemans, supported by images of international photographers Sabine Pigalle, Ruy Teixeira and Lisa Klappe.

Attention is paid to the development of both designers. Both have more freedom enforced within their design methodologies, leading to more innovation and also a deeper layer in their work. One side of the book starts with the story of Kiki, the opposite side with the story of Joost. In the middle of the book they come together and their joint projects, traveling, personal fascinations and inspirations are described here.
