In Prix de Rome 2018. Architecture, four talented young architects and urbanists (Alessandra Covini, Bram van Kaathoven, Katarzyna Nowak, Rademacher de Vries ) present their inspiring designs. The work of these architects is exemplary for its innovative approach, analytical attitude and the challenging way in which it pushes the envelope, rethinks the discipline of architecture and raises it to a higher level. How will they meet the challenge set by the jury and who will eventually win the Prix de Rome 2018?

The Prix de Rome is the oldest and most generous Dutch prize for architects and visual artists under the age of 40. The aim of the prize is to trace talented architects and encourage them to develop their skills and increase their visibility. Since 2012, the prize has been organized and financed by the Mondriaan Fund. Winners receive a cash prize of € 40,000 and an artist residency at the American Academy in Rome.
